This is with respect to station K13KO, Prospect, Oregon. Section 312(g) of the
Communications Act of 1934, as amended,1 provides that:
If a broadcasting station fails to transmit broadcast signals for any consecutive
12-month period, then the station license granted for the operation of that broadcast
station expires at the end of that period, notwithstanding any provision, term
or condition of the license to the contrary . . ..
Commission records indicate that K13KO has been silent since January 23, 2011.2 Accordingly,
the license for K13KO IS HEREBY CANCELLED and the call sign IS DELETED. In addition,
the above-referenced STA request is HEREBY DISMISSED.
